In the sacred town of Liska, renowned as one of the holiest places in the world, the profound prayers recited at the tomb of the esteemed tzadik, Rebbe Hershele Lisker zt"l, resonate with deep significance.

Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער), better known as Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן) and the celebrated author of Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה), was a significant Hasidic leader whose teachings remain influential among his followers today. A disciple of the esteemed Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), known as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה), the Rebbe was enriched with profound Torah and Hasidic insights. This bond between disciple and teacher continues to thrive in Hasidic circles, especially among the Satmar community, which honors the memories of both Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.
